BuoyWhale offers convenient access to the most recent condition reports from NOAA buoys worldwide. With customizable alerts, you can stay informed about the buoys that matter most to you.

Interactive Map
<ul>
 <li>Buoy markers provide instant condition readings, including wind speed and direction.</li>
 <li>Zoom in or out to adjust your geographic perspective.</li>
 <li>Conditions are automatically refreshed every 5 minutes.</li>
 <li>A units indicator reminds you of the wind speed units displayed in the buoy markers.</li>
 <li>Filter buttons allow you to toggle between displaying all buoys, only your favorite buoys, or hiding buoys with outdated data for a focused view.</li>
</ul>

Alerts
<ul>
 <li>Create personalized alerts to receive notifications when wind and/or wave conditions at the buoys you care about meet your specified criteria.</li>
 <li>Easily manage alerts from the All Alerts view.</li>
 <li>Pause alerts without deleting them from the All Alerts view.</li>
 <li>Touch an alert to launch BuoyWhale and scroll the map to the specific buoy mentioned in the alert.</li>
 <li>Press and hold an alert to open an enhanced alert window with additional details (iOS 12+).</li>
</ul>

Current Conditions
<ul>
 <li>View detailed current conditions reported by each buoy.</li>
 <li>See the age of current conditions and predicted next update time according to BuoyWhale.</li>
 <li>Access sun and moon rise/set times for the current day.</li>
 <li>A wind speed and gust chart visually presents conditions from the past 10 readings.</li>
 <li>A wind rose provides information on wind direction, speed, and frequency from the past 10 readings.</li>
 <li>A barometric pressure and tendency chart tracks data from the past 10 readings.</li>
 <li>Set wind and/or wave alerts for the current buoy.</li>
 <li>Add or remove the current buoy from your favorites list.</li>
</ul>

Note: Data reported by each buoy could vary. Reported data may include wind speed, wind gust speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, air and sea temperature, dew point, wave height and frequency, tide, and visibility.

All Buoys List
<ul>
 <li>Scroll through the complete list of NOAA buoys worldwide.</li>
 <li>Quickly search and filter the buoy list by buoy name and/or description.</li>
 <li>Sort the list by distance, favorites, last update, or station name.</li>
 <li>Display only favorite buoys by using the filter option.</li>
 <li>Access buoy conditions directly from the All Buoys list.</li>
 <li>Scroll the map to any buoy from the All Buoys list.</li>
</ul>

Settings
<ul>
 <li>Customize units for temperature, wind speed, barometric pressure, and wave height measurements.</li>
 <li>Automatically center the map to your last location upon startup.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
 <li>Opt for an ad-free experience for one year with the optional in-app purchase.</li>
</ul>
